Short and Sweet Writing Plan

I just realized that June arrives next week, and that means there is little time left to meet my writing goals for the first half of 2014.

But you know what?  I’m not going to spend a lot of time stressing over what I have and haven’t accomplished so far.  I find thinking about what I haven’t done just slows me down more.

So I’m going to think about the next story I want to write, the next project I’m going to begin.  When I think about where I’m planning to be, project-wise, instead of what I haven’t done, I see exactly how to reach the finish line.

And then, I’m going to stop thinking about where I’m heading and what I plan to write and get started.

Don’t slow me down, now.  The year’s nearly half gone and I have lots of plotting and lots of writing on my to-do list.

Short and sweet, here’s how I’ll be moving into the last half of the year.  In motion, and loving it.

What’s your strategy for the rest of 2014?  Leave a comment and let us know where your pen is taking you.
